About Us

Garden Girl Gallery encompasses both plants & art. I am an artist & perennial gardener & view my gardens as galleries & gardening as an extension of my artistry. I am a retired art teacher with degrees in Education & Fine Arts. I fell in love with perennial gardening years ago & have a passion for daylilies & iris, but enjoy everything that blooms. I also dabble in daylily hybridizing. My husband Mark is a retired Civil Engineer. He likes vegetable gardening & making homemade salsa. He helps care for the yard & flower gardens as well as plant order preparation. Thank you for your patience while we move our garden from Manhattan, KS to Kansas City, KS.
